Terms of use

Last updated 23 August 2026. These terms govern your use of this website and the introduction service described on it.

What Satora does

Satora operates an introduction service. We introduce merchants to payment providers and independent specialists who may be able to support their business. We are not a payment processor, an acquiring bank, a payment facilitator or a financial institution. We do not process payments, hold merchant accounts, hold or transmit merchant funds, or make underwriting or boarding decisions.

Any decision to accept or decline a merchant is made solely by the provider. We have no authority to approve an application, to overturn a decline, or to bind any provider.

No guarantee of outcome

Nothing on this website is a promise that you will be accepted by any provider, that any particular rate, reserve or timeline will be available to you, or that an introduction will be made. Fee and reserve ranges published on this site are indicative ranges drawn from what merchants in a category are commonly quoted. They are not offers, not quotes, and not binding on us or on any provider.

Information, not advice

The guidance on this site is general information about how payment acquiring works. It is not legal, regulatory, tax or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your circumstances. Regulation in the categories covered here changes frequently; pages carry a review date and cite primary sources so you can check the current position yourself, and you should.

Your responsibilities

By using the pre-qualification form or contacting us, you confirm that:

  • The information you provide is accurate and not misleading.
  • You are authorised to provide it on behalf of the business concerned.
  • The business holds whatever licences or authorisations its activities and target markets require.
  • You are not asking us to assist in presenting the business as something it is not.

We may decline to make an introduction for any reason, and will do so where a business is unlicensed in a market that requires a licence, where the compliance position is unclear, or where the information provided appears inaccurate.

How we are paid

You pay us nothing. We may receive a commission from a provider where an introduction results in a live merchant account. This is disclosed in full on how we work, including the conflict of interest it creates and what we do about it.

Your relationship with providers

Any agreement you enter into with a provider is between you and that provider. We are not a party to it, we are not an agent of yours, and we have no ability to enforce, vary or terminate it. Questions about your account, your settlements, your reserve or a dispute go to your provider.

Third-party links

We link to regulators, card schemes, statutes and other primary sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability. A link is a citation, not an endorsement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of revenue or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, from an introduction, or from any decision made by a provider. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Intellectual property

The content of this website belongs to Satora unless stated otherwise. You may read it, quote it with attribution, and link to it. You may not republish it wholesale as your own.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version in force is the one published when you use the site.
